The Fine Dining restaurant, located at the Weiwuying National Arts and Culture Center, is meticulously crafted by Chef Jason. The restaurant's concept is derived from local elements and is named after the blue whale in Taiwanese, reflecting its location in the culturally rich city of Kaohsiung, known for its marine heritage. The interior design incorporates natural elements such as wooden collages and fiber weavings, showcasing the spirit of craftsmanship.
Atelier CHUZI, inspired by the characteristics of the blue whale, has designed bamboo weavings in dual colors and streamlined patterns that echo the unique texture of the blue whale's lower abdomen. These "vertical pleats" are the fatty layers within the blue whale's skin, which provide buoyancy during diving and reduce resistance while swimming.
The intricate and transparent bamboo weavings exhibit the majestic and agile qualities of the blue whale. Suspended in the space, they seem to embody the creativity of the culinary artists, guiding us through a journey of taste exploration.

Atelier CHUZI
